Londons Old Billingsgate hosted the annual Retail Trusts Gala event. The evening brought together the finest leaders in the Retail Industry for a night of fun and thrills as well as recognizing the Industry’s current and upcoming talents.
Mr. Jamie Cuffy of Beata Lei is the Retail Trusts first entrepreneur advocate and was honored to be invited by Richard Boland head of the Retail Trust to speak in front of a packed house of more than a Thousand influencers.

The Trust is the UK’s largest employment group with over 4.5 million employees, retail needs retailHUB wellbeing services and has Her Majesty The Queen as the Patron of retailTRUST. In 1948, the then Princess Elizabeth became the patron and after her coronation in 1953, she has been a gracious supporter of the charity ever since.
The night was hosted by the Stunning TV star Denise Van Outen and saw Live entertainment acts including the sensational ‘Soul Brothers’
There was an Exclusive American Express Silent Auction which allowed guests to bid on a range of unforgettable experiences including an exclusive pair of Mr.Cuffy’s Beata Lei shoes.

Journey, Dream, Vision
Mr. Cuffy addressed the star-studded audience by talking about his amazing journey from quitting his day job in IT to following his dream to building his shoe and fashion empire.
Mr. Cuffy spoke about the influence of his late legendary Mother and the strong effect she played in giving him the encouragement and strong will to strive to be a goal getter.
Without the support from The Retail Trust and Richard Boland, David S Kaye and all those that have taken time from their own busy schedules to help nurture and believe in my vision I’m certain none of this wonderful adventure would be at the point it is currently and I am truly honored to both travel to London and speak at this prestigious event
The entire room was captivated by his wonderful story and joined together to give Mr. Cuffy a standing ovation.
